  I've just received the January issue and was fascinated by the reader's story that explained the Primitive Methodist Church. One of my forebears, the Rev. Matthew FOGGON, was a minister in this church in Queensland. He was born in Co. Durham in , spent some time in South Africa and was appointed to the church in Ipswich, Qld in In the near future, it is our hope to provide access to a digital archive containing collected works of Primitive Baptist ministers, brothers, and sisters from the past whose legacy in the written word live continue to speak to the issues of our own lives as we serve the same God, in the same Church, according to the same Bible as they did.   The Church of Christ attempts to make a case for Christian unity predicated upon the restoration of primitive Christianity. At first glance, it seems like a reasonable approach. But when starting assumptions are flawed, conclusions will be as well.
